Environmental Studies
Environmental issues, such as climate change, water availability, and eutrophication, are of widespread concern. These problems span the economic, political, and scientific landscape, and effective solutions will draw on knowledge of the humanities, social sciences, and natural sciences. As a result, there are many employment opportunities for people with the technical and political skills to address these complex problems. If you are interested in environmental issues, you may want to consider a degree that provides interdisciplinary perspectives to environmental problem-solving.
Kennesaw State University offers Environmental Studies as part of the Interdisciplinary Degree Program in the University College. The Environmental Studies Program (ESP) has two tracks: Environmental Policy and Environmental Science. These tracks are designed to train leaders with the diversity of tools required to address the complex environmental issues we face today.
