Class attendance: Regular attendance is required and expected. If an emergency arises, email information to mmyers@kennesaw.edu.

Make-up work: Late work is not accepted. No make-up exams are given. If an emergency arises, and an absence is excused, then the student may take a cumulative final exam in place of the missed exam. The lowest assignment grade is dropped, in order to allow for emergencies also.

Evaluation: Evaluation of your performance will be based on the following components:

Participation	35%	Attendance and contribution to class discussion and related activities
Tests (3 at 10% each)	30%	September 15, October 22, and December 8
Biography paper & presentation	15%	Biography of a women in science, math or technology presented in writing and orally
Assignments	20%	Homework problems and other activities assigned throughout the term.

CL 2003 is located on the second floor of the new Ann and John Clendinin Computer Science Building, adjacent to the Science Building, on the southwest corner of campus. CL 3043 is on the third floor with the CSIS Departmental Offices.
