Fall 2008, Dr. Ken Hoganson

A NEW 1-hour course is the capstone/final requirement for completing your applied studies or thesis projects.

This course will meet sporadically as needed. Meetings will be announced by email.

Evaluation will be through your completing:

  • Petition to Graduate (complete the semester before graduation)
  • MSACS Exit Exam
  • Completion of all applied studies projects/tasks/components
  • Presentation on Applied Studies Project or Thesis Defense

Your presentation is to be between 10 and 20 minutes, and will be recorded for students to view. Remote presentation recording will be supported, so travel to campus is not required.

Petition to Graduate
   
Must be completed the semester PRIOR to the semester of graduation.
MSACS Exit Exam
    TBD
An online exam that we use in evaluating our program and curriculum, and how well students (in general) are suceeding in their learning objectives. Does not factor into your grades.

Completion of Applied Studies projects and tasks:
   

Complete by the last day of classes. Send an email report to Dr. Hoganson confirming completion and listing the project, description, activities, deliverables and accomplishments.
Project Presentation
   

A 10-20 minute presentation on the student's applied studies project.

Due November 17.

You will record you presentation so it can be shared with other students (Tegrity or ePop). You must coordinate with Dr. Hoganson as to date/time and recording technology (Tegrity if on campus, ePop if off-campus)
