  Astronomy 3321

Astronomy 3321 (syllabus) is an introduction to solar system astronomy.  Topics will include planetary motion and its role in the scientific revolution, theories for the origin of the solar system, the history and evolution of the Earth, comparative planetology, and the origin of life.  This course will emphasize physical principles and conceptual understanding.

Astronomy 3321 is an elective course for people majoring in Teacher Education.  They may take either ASTR 3320 or ASTR 3321.
