Welcome!

I joined KSU in 2008 after spending four years at the National Center for Polymer Research at UMass-Amherst, graduating from UT-Austin before that, and finishing college at NYU before that. With a large number of the 21,000 KSU students majoring in the sciences, the Chemistry and Biochemistry faculty have a fantastic opportunity to interact with a diverse student population with a wide range of talents and career aspirations.

It's an exciting time to be involved with the sciences here. Construction has started on a new building for the WellStar College of Health & Human Services. A planned addition to the Science building will offer more space for teaching and research. And several preprofessional groups including AMSA, NOBCChe, SAACS, and Phi Lambda Upsilon help students network and prepare for careers after graduation.
