There are three TV carts which plug into many of the lab rooms and the three conference rooms. Each cart comes with its own control panel. If a request is made for a lab or conference room, the cart will be delivered at the requested time.

HOW TO RESERVE AV EQUIPMENT:
Send all requests for AV equipment by e-mail to Shereen Khundmiri at skhundmi@kennesaw.edu.

All requests for AV equipment and video/laser disc service must be submitted at least two working days prior to the time requested. This does not include weekends. If you need something on Monday the request needs to be in on Wednesday of the previous week.

A Request for Service form (see attached) must be completed and attached to the video or laser disk you wish to use. These must be given to Shereen Khundmiri two working days before you would like to view them. The media and request may be left in the black box on SC 535. Requests may be made as far in advance as you would like. Only VHS and LD can be requested.

The user must select auto or manual play. The auto play feature allows the media to start playing on the TV at the requested start time and stop at the end time with assistance by the user.

The manual play feature allows the user to start and stop the media at any time. The media will not begin playing until the play button is pressed.

All submitted VHS media must be advanced to the position the media is to start, unless the user wishes to do so during the requested time.

The user will not be able to control the TV after the requested end time. The system will automatically turn off the TV at the end time. Please allow yourself ample time without running excessively into the next period's time. Another media request can not be scheduled in the room until your request time has ended.

Special Notice:

To use any of the AV equipment in SC212, you must be trained by P.T.D. before receiving a key to the equipment cabinet. We reserve the right not to support anyone in SC212 that has not received the proper training.
