3300 Web Technologies
Prerequisite
CSIS
2300 Principles of Computing or its equivalent.
Description
Web Technologies will introduce students to the planning, design,
implementation and maintenance of World Wide Web applications.
Web applications will be developed using both high-end development
environments as well as html. Topics include tables, image maps,
frames, security, ethical issues, application development tools, and
development methodologies.
Objectives
After completing the course,
students will be able to produce effective, maintainable web sites and
web applications. Students will manage the design and
implementation of these applications using appropriate project
management methods.
