How To Register in OwlTrak
What is OwlTrak?
OwlTrak is the database system that The Career Services Center at KSU uses to serve their students and alumni. Through this database the students and alumni can access many of our services from their home computer. They must register, complete a profile and upload their resume into the system.
The following services are available through the OwlTrak system:
Job Postings. Over 5,000 job openings are posted each semester. These range from part- time positions to full-time professional opportunities.
Co-op and Internship Openings. A wide variety of co-op/internship sites are listed in the system.
On-Campus Recruiting. Many employers come on campus to conduct one-on-one interviews. Their jobs can be accessed through the On-Campus Recruiting section of OwlTrak
Resume Referral. Through OwlTrak, resumes are sent to employers who request these.
Career Contacts
Networking is the key to many great career opportunities. Through our Career Contact and Alumni Network students and alumni will be able to contact alumni who have volunteered to serve as advisors
Extensive Resource System. OwlTrak offers extensive resources. Students can find answers to career search questions, ranging from salary negotiation to working a career fair.
To Register in OwlTrak:
Go to The Career Center’s website at http://careerctr.kennesaw.edu.
At the bottom of the first page there will be a link for First Time OwlTrak Users.
Put your KSU ID Number there and click on Register.
Follow the instructions on the subsequent pages to create a profile and a user name and password. Your user name and password will be used to get into the system whenever you go in as a Returning OwlTrak User.
One additional benefit of OwlTrak is that your Career Advisor will be able to immediately inform you of any opportunities that might come across her desk.
