Pre-Pharmacy Advisement

A PharmD. program takes 6 years to complete including 2 years of pre-pharmacy curriculum. A student can get the pre-pharmacy courses at any accredited institution. This curriculum includes a basic core of chemistry, biology, math, physics, and liberal arts.  

Specifically, Mercer has received over 1800 applications for 145 spots for Fall 2005 PharmD. enrollment. Good grades (3.50 avg. GPA in recent years) are an essential component for acceptance into pharmacy schools in addition to pharmacy experience, excellent letters of recommendation, and scores on the PCAT of above 75 composite with a minimum composite of 50.
