This page provides information about my current scholarship interests.

Specifically I am currently examining a number of computer-use, security and policy related activities.

My research (scholarship) philosophy and stream of research focuses on "fair and responsible use" of information systems. This stream covers a wide expanse of topics including information security, security policy, fair and responsible use policies, and threats to information security.

Information Security
I am currently authoring my sixth textbook in Information Security. I have a number of publications on the topic, in addition to a lab manual. Click on an image below for the publisher's page.

Information Security Curriculum Development
I currently have grants under review to assist in the development and distribution of a formal curriculum model in information security and assurance.

Computer Use Ethics
One of my ongoing research threads is computer-use ethics.

IS Research
I have recently completed a book project where Dr. Amy Woszczynski and I cataloged and ranked a collection of exemplary works in IS Research. This resulted in an edited text of new works by authors of these exemplary works as well as new authors on IS research.
