The Albrecht lab is a part of the Biology and Physics Department. The lab utilizes cell and molecular techniques to study acute inflammation. Dr. Albrecht received his Ph.D. in Biology from Wayne State University(2000) under the mentorship of Dr. Howard Petty (currently at University of Michigan). Following graduation, Dr. Albrecht accepted an appointment as a postdoctoral fellow in the Pathology Department at the University of Michigan under the mentorship of Dr. Peter Ward. Dr. Albrecht came to KSU in 2006.
