CSIS Curriculum Committee
Committee Membership:
- Appointed
voting members: All degree program Directors and Coordinators
- Ex-officio:
Department Chair or designated appointee
- At-large
voting members (elected): 2 full-time, permanent CSIS faculty members
At-large members:
- Serve
staggered 2-year terms and are elected every academic year during the
spring semester to serve beginning the following fall semester
- Selected
from all full-time, permanent faculty members
Nominations and voting:
- All
full-time, permanent faculty members may make nominations or self-nominate
- Voting
will be by secret ballot
Mid-year Vacancies:
- If
there is one mid-year vacancy, the CSIS Department will schedule a vote to
replace the missing member at the next regularly scheduled CSIS Department
meeting. The elected member will serve the remainder of the academic year.
- If
there are two mid-year vacancies, the CSIS Department will schedule a vote
to replace the missing members at the next regularly scheduled CSIS
Department meeting. The faculty member receiving the most votes will serve
the remainder of the current year and the following academic year. The
faculty member receiving the second-most votes will serve the remainder of
the current year.
